Recipe - Green Chicken Skewers

  • 250 gms Chicken leg boneless
  • Salt To taste
  • Oil For frying

For Green Marinade

  • 1 cup Coriander leaves (packed)
  • 1/2 cup Dill leaves (packed)
  • 1/2 cup Mint leaves (packed)
  • 1/4 cup Spinach blanched (packed)
  • 1/4 Onion (small)
  • 1 Green chilly  
  • 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
  • 1 tbsp Garlic chopped
  • 6-8 Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup Soft cheese chunks
  • 4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt To taste

For shashlik

  • Onion chunks Handful
  • Assorted peppers diced Handful
  • Wooden skewers As required


HB Pro Juicer Mixer Grinder blends the leaves into a smooth marinade. The low speed retains the bright green colour & keeps the delicate flavours alive.

  1. Sprinkle salt on the chicken and mix it. Keep it aside. Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least half hour. To make the green marinade place all the ingredients in the jar. Using the Blend Preset option puree the ingredients to a fine paste.
  2. Remove the jar & pour out the marinade over the chicken. Add onions & peppers. On wooden skewers alternatively skewer chicken, onion and peppers.
  3. Heat a pan and drizzle oil. Cook the skewers on medium hot pan. Turn and cook on all sides. Remove and serve hot.

Note - if using the manual mode then grind it on medium speed for approximately 20 seconds.
