Food Adventure # 39 - Steamed Fish Fillet with Thai Herbs

Ingredients:

  • Fish fillet – 200 gms
  • Lemon juice- 30ml
  • Sugar- 15gm
  • Red chilli fresh – 5gm
  • Garlic – 5gm
  • Fish sauce – 20ml
  • Finely chopped kaffir lime – 2.5gm
  • Finely chopped coriander roots- 5gm
  • Tom yum paste – 2.5gm
  • Fresh coriander leaves- a few
  • Lemon slices- 4 slices

Directions:

  • Make the sauce by mixing ingredients 2 to 11 well. Keep aside
  • Lay the fish fillet in a greased glass baking dish in one layer
  • Pour all sauce over the fish. Cover dish with silver foil
  • Bake in a moderate oven for 15 mins
  • Uncover, garnish with lemon slices and fresh coriander leaves and serve immediately
